The Problem
Media Max (MMX) represents the Multimedia Arts students of the school, and a major focus of their program is on coding, ranging from websites, games, to mobile apps. Despite this, Media Max didn’t have a website to their name.
We needed to show the freshmen what the org was capable of and how they be part of the adventure.
The Solution
The WordPress website showcased the org’s demo reel on the home page, and funneled users to more informational pages, such as the story behind MMX and what committees new members could join.
This was made using WordPress and some custom CSS. After this course, I learned how to use WordPress by using the MMX website concept to experiment with. I developed the site a lot more, presented it to the executive board, and received a positive response. Launching the site will require going through some of the school’s red tape, so, for now, MMX can be found only on social media.
